  1. I got a Turbosound AVR AY board a while ago, and recently tested it.
The sound quality is just awesome!
I made this video this week: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ii5gcyprhAg

I really was looking for a solution, since I use hundreds of AY-3-8912 chips every year, and they are really hard to obtain at this moment.
I like to produce the AVR AY, with a single Atmega for single AY chip emulation, which is enough for me.
    Is that ok?

  2. Hi,

I have made the AVR-AYwith a single chip and use it on a Harlequin 128 v.2D
The sound works but is very garbeled and does not sound like in the video than Ben has posted.
So, what firmware file should i use to get this working nicely.

This what i have used to program the atmega:

    avrdude -p atmega8 -c USBasp -U flash:w:AY_Emul_260_3ch_m88_ay_speaker.hex -U eeprom:w:Conf_parallel_27MHz_1_75Mhz.hex -U lfuse:w:0xCE:m -U hfuse:w:0xCF:m

Trying with some other files, it does not improve.
Can you help met with the correct programming file to use with the Harlequin 128

    Thank,
    Best regards,
    Ronny Verminck
